Its week 4, time for some real gambling.
Star Rankings are back 1 through 5 depending on my confidence, 1 as a guess, 3 is a I would "wager a small amount" and 5 as a lock I would "wager a less small amount of money" . Get dat cash, homes.
DET @ CHI -10 40.5
Spread - No Shift, U/O +1.5 shift
Ignore the GB game and Cutler is over 70% passing and 5/1 with over 100 ranking. DET Defense stinks. This is the week that we hear about Cutler to Bennett, this is the week before we get tired of hearing about Cutler and Bennett playing together at Vanderbilt. This is the game that makes Matt Forte fantasy owners feel vindicated, before crashing back to earth. This is a teaser delight assuming the line doesn't shift to 12 before the game.
Rank: 3 Stars CHI -10
CIN @ CLE 6 37.5
Spread +2.5 shift, U/O -0.5 shift
Usually my secret stat is home team underdogs with a line shifting in their favor, not this game however, dear. I can not see Cleveland covering even with the six, but I get a tingly right testicle when I try to imagine CIN covering 6, right testicle bad, left testicle good, sorry the signal is not strong on this one.
Rank: 2 Stars CIN -6
SEA @ IND -10 44
Spread +1 shift, U/O -no shift
After beating up on the drunken retarded crippled midget blind group of gentlemen that assemble to form the STL, SEA has done less than horny goat weed. I do not believe in miracles, I do believe in Peyton Manning. The home field advantage is not what it used to be in Indy, but SEA is a weak and fragile hombre, and this game is a teaser delight.
Rank: 3 Stars IND - 10
TEN @ JAC 3
Spread +3 (Home team underdog), U/O -no shift
I like it when a team is at home and the line shifts in their favor when they are underdogs, it is my play. Enough. You say TEN is for real and I pretend not to listen, I hear it but remember Kerry Collins on the sauce, and baby is he playing like someone accidentally installed a keg-o-rator in the den instead of a solo flex. One day at a time Kerry, but why not wait until Monday.
Rank: 3 Stars JAC + 3
NYG @ KC 9
Spread no shift, U/O -no shift
When you face Larry Johnson and Tony Gonzalez at a packed Arrow Head Stadium you better bring a lunch.... hahhaa, I would tease this game down to -12. Also, Kansas City is not in Kansas, and neither will they cover.
Rank: 4 Stars NYG - 9
BAL @ NE -1 45
Spread +2.5, U/O +.5
Tom Brady's knee is scared, and it should be scared. This is the rebuilding year no one told NE about. Stop believeing, even Journey is not believing in NE anymore.
Rank: 4 Stars BAL + 1
TB @ WAS -9 37
Spread -1.5, U/O no shift
I feel like this season for both teams respectively, is two div III teams dressing up as pro teams as some sort of Borat like documentary to laugh at us all, or worse both teams died and they are replacing them until all family members can be contacted.
Rank: 0 Stars TB + 9
OAK @ HOU -9 42.5
Spread -1.5 shift, U/O +4.5
Not a whole lot a D going to happen, not a whole lot a quality football either. If J Russel is ever going to have a quality start, this is the week. This could also be the last week Daren McFadden looks like a starter, this is it for him, the last time he is ever called by anything other than, "the guy Oakland drafted, the running back, the one that sucked" This is D McF day, then he quietly retires, forever, good night sweet prince. Hey remember Steve Slayton.
Rank: 2 Stars OAK + 9
